As you'll see from my photo-gallery, I try to find something inspiring, poetic, poignant or pretty in life's odds and ends, that can so easily be overlooked. Whether from my garden, woodpile or the surrounding countryside, most of my subjects are from Nature, and many are macro shots. Often I don't know how a picture will turn out until I load it into Photoshop and start playing around. My hope is that what you see will move you - one way or another. I haven't decided entirely what I'll use the blog for. I have a magpie mind, so if anything shiny catches my eye you may find it captured here. Have fun!
