Held in the ‘new’ Old Market Hall Art Gallery, in Rotherham, it’s the first time I’ve exhibited there. Lovely people and an interesting contemporary space, it will be fascinating to see how it grows in its new home. The exhibition is now closed, to make way for their Old King Coal event.
They have another open exhibition in Spring 2018, and I’m looking forward to showing some new work then. Currently I’m experimenting with different types of art resin and framing techniques, so this may be a good opportunity to test public reaction to the new style.
In the meantime I’m collaborating with Linell Designs on preparing some pieces for the Wirksworth Festival, and getting ready for Christmas markets later in the year. We’ll be firing up the dye sublimation heat press to transfer photographs to gift items. Busy times…
